DMCA & Copyright
Yesmovies does not host, upload or store any video file. Every stream is embedded from, or resolved through, a third-party provider. The site is an index: it points at media that is already publicly available elsewhere.
What that means
Because nothing is stored here, a takedown of a specific file has to reach the host carrying it. Removing a title from this site does not remove it from the internet, and removing it from a host does not always remove it here until the index refreshes.
Filing a notice
Send a notice containing all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- The exact Yesmovies URL where it appears
- Your name, address and email
- A statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorised
- A statement that the information is accurate, under penalty of perjury
- Your physical or electronic signature
Where to send it
Notices go to the address listed in the footer of every page. Incomplete notices are returned rather than actioned, so include every item above.
Counter-notice
If a title was removed in error, a counter-notice with the same identifying detail plus a statement consenting to jurisdiction is enough to have it reviewed.
Safe harbour
Yesmovies acts in good faith under DMCA safe harbour provisions, responds to valid notices promptly, and keeps no commercial relationship with the providers it indexes.
Questions about playback rather than copyright are answered on the FAQ page.
